Visualization
​ Visualization is the ability to use your imagination to create pictures in your mind with purpose and intent. It proves to us we are capable of controlling our brain, our thoughts.


Grounding
Grounding is a technique that helps one to be present in the moment. One identifies five things they see, four things they feel, three they can hear, two they can smell, and one they can taste.


Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a type of meditation where one become very aware of what they are sensing and feeling. Mindfulness is a way of relaxing and reducing stress and being present in the moment.
Relaxation
The Relaxation response is opposite of the stress response. It's a process that decreases the stress effects of the mind and body and helps you to cope with everyday stress. This results in slower breathing, reduced heart rate and clearer thoughts.
